🖍️Dot Marker Fun for the First Week
Dot marker (also called dauber) activities are a favorite in the home and classroom. They’re mess-free, build fine motor control, and make it easy for little ones to stay focused and have fun.
Try pages like:
- 🍎An apple to start off an “A is for Apple” theme
- 🚌A school bus to talk about getting to school
- ✏️A pencil to introduce writing and drawing
- 🍄A mushroom or leaf to gently welcome fall themes

✂️Simple Cutting Practice Pages
Getting those little hands ready for scissors is important, and cutting practice pages are a fun way to do that. Look for:
- Thick, bold likes
- Fun shapes like stars, glue bottles, or backpacks
- Safety scissors for beginners
You can even turn their cut-out into little paper crafts or bulletin board decorations!

🔤Alphabet & Name Activities
Preschoolers love seeing their names on paper! The beginning of the year is a perfect time to:
- Practice tracing the first letter of their name
- Highlight letters like B, G, and H with coloring pages
- Use dot marker or sticker pages to “find the letter”
These kinds of printables are easy to reuse–just pop them in a page protector and use with dry erase markers.

🧠Patterning & Matching
Introduce early math and logic skills with simple patterns and sorting:
- Match items like glue bottles and apples
- Compete an ABAB pattern with crayons and pencils
- Use themed cards with school supplies or fall items
These are great for centers, quiet time, or take-home folders

🍁Transition into Fall
Blend Back to School with early fall themes like:
- Scarecrows
- Leaves
- Sweaters
- Acorns and mushrooms
It keeps your learning flow seasonal and gives you an easy transition into autumn units.
