Barbie Fashionista simple tube dress

Here is a simple tube dress to make for your Barbie Fashionista doll. It is very stunning and also very easy to make. 

I am going to use Hobby Lobby’s Artiste Size #8 crochet cotton in #200 Turquoise.  and a 2.75mm crochet hook.

Gauge: 24 sts = 4″, 16 rows = 4″

Row 1: ch 25, hdc in second ch from hook and in the rest of the chs. Ch 2, turn.

Row 2: Working into back loops only from here on out, hdc in each st across. Ch 2, turn. 

Rows 3-16: Repeat Row 2.

Row 17: Hdc in each st across. Ch 1, turn.

Now, fold in half with wrong side facing out. Insert hook into back st of row facing you, and sl st into front loop of back row. Continue along row. 

When you get to the end of the row, ch 1. Sc in same st. 16 sc around top of dress. Sl st to first st. Fasten off.

Attach same color thread at bottom of dress with a sc. Ch 1, sc in same st. 17 sc around bottom of dress. Sl st to first st. Fasten off. Weave in ends. Turn right side out. 

Slip dress over feet of doll and pinch around waist. Your dress is finished.
